Mandy Auguste

Mandy Auguste is our Strategic Lead at Inclusion Cornwall. With over 15 years’ experience in inclusive leadership, employment and skills, and community-based services, Mandy brings a wealth of knowledge alongside a deep love for Cornwall. Born and bred in Porthleven, she cares deeply about Cornwall’s communities and the people within them.

Inclusion isn’t just part of Mandy’s professional background — it’s at the heart of who she is. Throughout her career, she has been driven by listening to lived experience, breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for people who are too often unheard. Most recently, Mandy spent eight years leading Lizard Pathways at Cornwall Council and Cornwall Development Company, supporting people facing complex challenges through high-quality, impactful programmes.

Known for her person-centred leadership style and collaborative approach, Mandy is passionate about co-production and community-led change. She’s excited build on Inclusion Cornwall’s work, and work alongside partners, communities and colleagues to help ensure Cornwall is a place where everyone feels they belong and can thrive.

In Mandy’s words: “This role is about amplifying voices, joining up services and making sure no one is left out in the cold. Inclusion Cornwall already does incredible work – my aim is to help it flourish even further, with care, courage and collaboration at the heart of everything we do.”

Rhiannan Hobbs-McLernon

As the Inclusion Cornwall Project Support, I support all the Winter Well being activities and project across Cornwall and Isle of Scilly. I also work closely on the LA Flex project; with my previous experience I believe that my knowledge will help expand this project and work with the team. In my spare time I enjoy sea swimming, paddle boarding, going to the gym and going camping in our truck and roof tent – we are planning our next road trip adventure! My partner and I are also currently renovating our house, so lots of evenings and weekends are taken up with DIY projects & gardening too – lots of painting!
