Purpose

  1. Identify future work with the Council of the Isles of Scilly
  2. To discuss successes of Winter Wellbeing with customers

What Happened?

  • Meeting with Councillor Joel Williams (Council of the Isles of Scilly) key links discussed
    • IC AGM in September and plans for a joint presentation
    • Transport, Housing and Swimming Pool all areas of discussion
    • Cllr Thomas and Andrea Gilbert met with Community Leaders – Carole Holmes (Methodist) and Elizabeth Burke (Church of England) – both relatively new to the Islands so discussion around general links through the IC Hub and to identify any gaps in need on the Islands that IC could support.  Link to the Multi-agency group recently established through the Council of the Isles of Scilly.  Bev is following this up will be making contact.

  • Meeting with Abi and Nicola from Council of the Isles of Scilly to discuss future events and working together
  • Meeting with Martin from the Council of the Isles of Scilly confirming capacity for future insulation works
  • Meeting with customers – success of the previous works
  • Catch up with the Library and Healthwatch
