Zebs Youth Centre in Truro

Open access youth sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. Zebs is used by young people from ages 10-19 and is staffed by 2 workers with a few volunteers depending on which day.  It is also used by a number of other organisations and projects at other times during the week. They have 3 floors;

Basement – chill out area with sofas, xbox, pool table, computer room and 1 to 1 room

Ground floor – café area with kitchen, tables and chairs etc

Top floor – Music rehearsal area and separate recording studio

They don’t have a specialist music worker but are looking at working with volunteers and other organisations who might be able to offer tuition/therapy. Currently they open the music studio under supervision of a worker or trusted volunteer and young people are free to use the equipment. The studio is undergoing bit of a sort out, so they are always very welcoming of anyone who has more knowledge of the equipment than they do.
