CEDN members and survey

Cornwall Equality and Diversity Network (CEDN) is looking to establish itself as a key player in the equality, diversity and inclusion arena in Cornwall.
CEDN, and its predecessors, have been a central point for conversation, but now the group wants to move into action. It is offering training opportunities, and is beginning a championing and campaigning programme across the coming year.
The vision of CEDN was set out when it was formed in 2018:
“Our vision is for Cornwall to be a place where equality, opportunity and fairness are available to all; where we value everyone’s cultural heritage, celebrate diversity in all its forms and create an environment where all individuals and communities, regardless of need, want or aspiration, have an equal chance of realising their full potential.”
If you, or your organisation, want to be part of that, then we’d love to have you on board!
EDI training
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training is being offered through CEDN by Jude Cook of Equally Simple. To find out more about the training – how you can attend, and how your organisation could host a day’s training for your own staff and others, see the Inclusion Cornwall website.
Hearing Loss campaign
The first campaign that CEDN will be around hearing loss, gathering intelligence about what awareness there is in Cornwall of this issue, and what resources there are to support people who have some level of deafness.
If you are interested in joining CEDN, or if your organisation is already a member, please take part in our short survey, to find out more about your organisation, and begin a conversation around support for those with hearing loss.
Please complete the survey by Monday 16 May via this button, or by downloading the attached Word doc, and returning it by email.
We look forward to hearing from you.
