Dr De Gruchy – spoke about how health of the Nation has overall improved but people are getting conditions at a younger age. And there is a rise in economic inactivity which is more profound in rural areas. Primary prevention and secondary prevention was descibed. Dr De Gruchy confirmed the work of Inclusion Cornwall goes towards reducing the onset of early ill-health. The biggest potential is to get the inactive to be active. Inclusion Cornwall is up to this challenge.
